The STAA is affiliated with the European Association for Transactional Analysis (EATA) and, as such, fully abides by the latest 'EATA Ethical Code' (July 2010).
The STAA expects all current practitioner members to have access to a full ethical complaints procedure via their membership of other professional organisations (e.g. UKATA, COSCA, BACP and UKCP), as well as the financial and legal support afforded by professional indemnity insurance. In addition, both practitioner members and non-practicing members alike are expected to abide fully with the 'EATA Ethical Code'.
The STAA is not presently in a position to undertake formal complaints investigations, or hearings. Please approach the aforementioned national membership and accreditation bodies for more information on their differing complaints procedures.
